Computers store everything from priceless family photographs to critical business data, yet very few people take steps to disaster-proof these items. It is recommended to keep two backup sets of data, at least one of which is stored in a physically separate location to prevent against events such as fire or flood.

There are many cloud-based backup solutions available today that provide excellent security and convenience for a minimal cost. It is far more cost efficient to back up data than to pay for expensive data recovery services when disaster strikes.
